These terms apply when you use mymealscience.com and its tools (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. Please also read our Nutrition & Medical Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.

1. What the Service is

My Meal Science is a nutrition and lifestyle platform. Based on information you provide (your goals, food preferences, health context and lifestyle), we generate personalised meal plans, recipes and nutrition information. The Service provides general nutrition and lifestyle information. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or over to create an account.
• You sign in using a one-time code sent to your email; there is no password to manage.
• You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that's how we verify it's you.
• You agree to give accurate information, particularly about allergies and health context, since our safety checks and meal filtering rely on what you tell us.

3. AI-generated content

Sarah and James, who appear in our videos and content, are AI-generated presenters, not real people. They do not have personal medical histories, and nothing they say should be read as a personal medical claim. Meal plans and recommendations are produced by our nutrition engine using rules and data we've built, not by Sarah or James "deciding" anything.

4. Products and payment

Some features may be offered free of charge and others as paid products or subscriptions, as described on the site at the time. Where a paid product is available, pricing, billing terms and cancellation will be shown before you pay. We'll update this section with full payment terms once paid plans are live.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service if you're under 18
• Provide false health or allergy information in a way intended to bypass our safety checks
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service
• Use the Service, or any content from it, for a purpose that could cause harm to yourself or others

6. No medical relationship

Using the Service does not create a doctor-patient, dietitian-patient or any other clinical relationship. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are taking medication, or are otherwise concerned about your health, speak to a qualified healthcare professional before changing your diet.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including any adverse health outcome resulting from following a meal plan without appropriate medical guidance. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your own country of residence.
